2001 winnabago adventurer 32' fuel issues checked fuses and batteries are up and thinking of making access door to replace fuelpump??? Anyone done this???on this type rv has 8.1 workhorse chassie.

I have seen it done on older ford chassis but not on a Workhorse chassis. For the work you have to do and Knowing you probably wouldn't have to do it again it would probably be easier to drop the tank to change the fuel pump. That being said just make sure that is the problem.

Have anyone had this code p15q4 (control module actuater position performance ? Iv checked fuel pump 62lbs pressure replaced /fuel filter / fuel press regulator / maf sensor/crank sensor . Now im at this point. I removed the electronic throttle body and cleaned and checked for problems .( nuthing wrong with it) and im still unable to keep motorhome running without pouring fuel in( manually) or using starting fluid... it runs fine when fuel is put in this way. Im now down to this. ANYONE RECALL HAVING THIS ISSUE WITH A WORKHORSE 8.1 GM???

Miles on the rv are 44,000 & it is a 1 owner .this started after starting it on 4th month of sitting. its gas is now starting to get old.

Sounds like your injectors are not firing does your year have a cam sensor. I believe the injectors are fired by the cam sensor at least at startup . There is a fuse for fuel injector system as well. Google how to test for injection pulse and shorted injector.

Don't know about doing it on a MH, but when my old Ford pickup fuel pump went out, the tow truck driver told me he made an access panel in the bed of his pickup, and had used it several times.
