ACE widshield wiper replacement
Our 27.2 ACE has 29 1/4" wiper blades. Has anyone else seen such a strange length. I could not find replacement anywhere, not even in 30" Is this a Thor thing? I settled for 32" with the 12mm J hook dimension and readjusted the wiper blade arm slightly on the shaft. It took two weeks delivery from Camping World, not what I need in case of emergencies.

First question why buy at camping world? Amazon, any auto parts store most likely has 30 inch.

Thanks, I tried all the auto parts stores and WalMart, seems 28" is the longest they carry. 30" is a non standard I guess, I did not see it anywhere. I shopped Camping World online, our local store was supposed to have 32" in stock, wrong! I was told they do not carry them but could order them, so I did. Also, all the auto parts in stock blades are 9mm J hook thickness , I needed 12mm thickness.

Next time check rockauto.com Two years ago i bought 28" blades for less than $4 each.

A lot of owners have dropped from 32" blades to 28" because more pressure on blades from old arms/springs and easier and cheaper to buy. I was able to find 30" silicone rubber replacements that went in my 28" screw held blades.

Thanks, I should have tried Rock Auto, I have used them for other orders. I will try again and keep a set for emergencies.

The 30" can be a pain to find and expensive. I know many just go to 28". For others who might be looking, Costco usually has a display of Good Year wiper blades. The longest is 28" and has multiple attachments that interchange with different setups. They're usually only about $8.00 a blade.
