Red face Am I ready?

Okay friends, I think I am ready, cleaned up the used Komfort, replaced the bathroom sink, literally it was the only thing that needed work, other than scrubbing it clean and making it look new again. Man, that's a lot of space to scrub! Tried to get the title registration done today and because the plates and title were from Oregon, the title had no weight so we have to go get it weighed and get a weight statement to complete the registration. A cotton gin coop will do it for us Monday. There is a 50 gallon holding tank that is full, should I drain it, and take the 2 large propane tanks off? My hubby had them filled the other day. If so, how do I drain the water tank? Take a long shower? Will it hurt the water pump if it runs totally out? I am so excited about going on a vacation in her, I can hardly stand it!!!!!!! Wish I could add photos, but below it only says add video......hmmmmmm

If a heavier RV costs more to register, then I'd drain the tanks. Water weighs 8.4 lb a gallon. The fresh water tank should have a drain valve that will just dump it on the ground. The black and grey tanks should be dumped into a sanitary sewer. (not a groundwater sewer) You could take it to a local dump station. If you don't know where one is located, an internet search might reveal a spot.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I agree with Bob. If you're weighing it strictly for registration then get all the weight off that you can.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
