Yeah, I think both those choices are good ones. And as you seem to be aware, Winnebago and Newmar are now under the same corporate umbrella too, lol.
And one other thing that I was thinking about last night pertaining to the large cab-over windows you want is to purchase a used Class C if you see one that fits the floor plan you're looking for and and then have a body shop or RV renovator see if they can cut-in the cab-over window(s) as a customized request. It may or may not be possible depending on the construction/design or the way it's engineered but I've seen some pretty unique things that have been done if choosing the right person who knows what they're doing.
The window could be frameless in design to still keep front cap aerodynamic. Custom glass could be used so it has advanced insulating properties and be more resistant to damage from rocks and tree limbs, etc. Custom seals can be specified to prevent leaks from developing. Sure, it may be really expensive to do but the amount you save buying an RV that's two or three years old would make such a project doable. I don't know ...something to think about, though. :P
Out of curiosity, why do you want those windows? Are you planning on sleeping up there and want to see the scenery as you lay in bed? Or just want the natural light coming into the living area and planning to sleep in the regular bed?

Call & ask. If it's swappable, they'll do it. I'm seriously considering the 2351D, but I'll have the euro chair removed & a full wall of cabinets put there. Don't need the extra chair when the cockpit seats swivel.

As Meg Ryan said in Sleepless in Seattle, "Yes, Yes, Yes, & YES!"
It's grand for stargazing (or at least sunset/twilight gazing) when it's too cold to be outside. Depending on the weight capacity of the cab bunk I intend to have my art supplies & select fave books up there.
If I go with the Newmar Bay Star 2702, the sheer beauty of that coach will help me not miss a cab bunk so much.

That sounds like the perfect thing to do, Nlovnit. Sure is a better use of space. You'll have to post it on the 'My New Rig' thread when you get it & show it off!
