For what purpose are you going to use it for that prompts you to carry it with you?

If by chance for washing the motorhome, I'm in the camp that does not recommend pressure washers for that purpose. If for pressure washing the concrete pad at a campground, be sure to check their rules ...and not sure why you'd want to pressure wash their pad in the first place.

Although some do use pressure washers for cleaning the exterior of their motorhome, many of us wouldn't dare. You may want to take a look at this thread before you purchase one for that purpose:

do you pressure wash your rv ?

I was told that it is good for getting the road bugs off the windshield.

Not a good idea??

Ah, okay. Well, I suppose it would work. But even on the windshield, I'm not sure I'd want to use too high a pressure either.

I use the dryer sheet method. I carry a 6' folding collapsible step ladder in the storage compartment. I whip it out at fuel stop or a rest area. I spray the windshield with water from a spray bottle and with a wet dryer sheet or two, wipe down the windshield. I let it sit for a few minutes and then spray with water again and all the bugs come right off with a soft microfiber towel. If any stubborn bugs are left, I scrub them gently with another wet dryer sheet. If time permits, I'll go over it with a bit of aerosol glass cleaner. It takes less than ten minutes, gives me some good exercise, and the supplies cost much less than $450 ...lol.

I'm with dmm588. If you're going to use one, will a $100 one accomplish the same thing? Even on the windshield, personally, I wouldn't want to spray it with too high a pressure as as to keep the integrity of the molding seals intact, etc.

We camp on the Texas coast near the water 4 times a year. We are near a sea wall that generates a lot of spray when the wind is out of the north. This campground allows rinsing of RVs, not washing. I carry a small Ryobi pressure washer, $89 on sale at Home Depot with military/DV discount. It is great for rinsing off the salt on MH and toad, and for getting bugs off the windshields. I keep the nozzle at least 12 inches from the windshields and 24 inches from the paint and do not direct pressure on any seal. I found at 24 inches the pressure is not great, but at 4 inches it will cause bruising and blood blisters.

It works fine, but is loud. I use it wash off the undercarriage when we get into dirty, muddy situations.
