The RV industry has not learned anything from the previous recession when a bulk of the manufacturers either went bankrupt or were bought up by the stronger competitors.

The reality is that as money gets tight again there will be another downturn with the first thing that will happen being that current owners will try to bail out on their rigs flooding the market. The repo market will again boom and manufacturers will crumble. I know it sounds like gloom and doom but it is probably closer to the truth then anyone wants to admit.

The problem with the RV sales surge is that the new owners keep filling up the campgrounds. Dang! Three years ago we could wander about Florida in the winter and never make reservations more than a week in advance; not so any more.
Maybe it will spur more new campgrounds around the country.
Obla dee, obla da, life goes on.....
