auto park brake trouble

hi I have just joined the site and I am in England in the UK. I have a 2000 damon Challenger with a Chevy 454, I have just filled the water tank, went to movr the rv and it was like the brake was sticking on, i went to select reverse and it wouldn't shift into reverse. i put the park brake on and offa couple of times and it eventually went in reverse but the brakes were on, the park brake was off and no park brake light was on on the dash, can anyone help please ?

Welcome to the forum! I don't own your type of motorhome, but here's a simple idea. Most vehicles nowadays won't allow you to shift the transmission without pushing your foot on the brake pedal. I've had this problem a couple times myself over the years and always wonder how I could have forgotten this.
