I don't have Ride Rite insurance, but I do have a policy that covers repairs, bumper to bumper. It is my assumption that your awning is between the bumpers, therefore should be covered. Read your policy, and be forceful to make the insurer do as they promised in your policy. They WILL try to lowball you, it's what they do because they care more about their stockholders than they do you -- I mean, they already have your money. That's what you can expect everytime you use these morons. DO NOT let them violate their promises, that includes promises made in their advertising literature that may have influenced you when you decided to buy this policy. My belief is, yes, the awning is covered, so that includes the recoil spring, the motor, the transmission gears, and the rigging of these covered items. Go get 'em.
