Has anyone tried a product called awning saver (http://www.awningsaver.com) and is it worth the price tag? I guess if you lost your awning it would be. Any info?

We have used one now for about three years. They do work. It is difficult to prove what a product prevents, but I haven't heard of any cases of an awning billowing problem when the Awning Saver was in use. I do know of many an RV owner who has experienced the awning billowing out, unrolled by high wind with the awning's arms still latched to the side of the RV. Many have lost the awning in that manner. This will not happen if you use the Awning Saver. I also like this product because it does not require the drilling of any holes, yet is is very effective and it can be easily moved to a new RV if you should trade.
