Back up monitor on FIRE!!!!

So today my back up monitor wasn't working. So I found a popped fuse replaced it and turned it on and was working. I turned it back off as soon as I saw it was working. So as I'm about to walk out of the coach patting myself on the back I look back to see nothing but smoke. I freak out and I pull the fuse within 3 seconds. It's a older voyager back up moniter. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Did you replace the fuse with the correct amperage? Usually they are 3 - 5 amp on the older monitors. Even if you did it can, as you have seen, fail to produce smoke.
