Backup alarm and lights came on

All by themselves. Plugged in at a campground and coach was not even running, ignition off. 2004 Monaco Executive PBQ. Looking at the original wiring schematics looks to me like the signal for backup lights and alarm come from the Allison VIM. Opened up the VIM box and found the six Bosch relays inside. Removed the one listed for “Alarm” and the lights still did not go off. Then one by one removed each relay until all were removed and lights still on. Have I missed a backup switch or relay somewhere else? Any ideas would be a huge help.

Open the connection for a towed vehicle. There usually is a +12v line that can short to the other wires to cause your problem. Took me 3 different times to locate the problem on my RV. Found sand and water that caused short. The water would dry, problem went away, got wet again and had problem back.

Thanks bud. Will give that a try. Did just tow up to Washington state in the blizzard a couple weeks ago. Will let you know how that turns out.
