Backup camera monitor problem

I own 03 beaver Monterey, I have some issues with.Back up camera doesn't work, and l notice some information on speed and MPG do not make sense. It's a Sony monitor with Aladdin control. Can anyone tell me if there is any place or anybody that I can take it to that can correct the problem. People in Decatur In. told me that they don't know how to fix it thank you.

I had the same problem and decided to replace with a new unit. Available online or you can take to some shops that replace radios etc for cars.

If your camera is out, check if the cruise control works. My camera went out along with my cruise control. There is a lever type relay in your “Bird” box in the back with the bird relay. There are about 7 of them in a row. Easy to tell which one is popped.Mine was the bottom row on the far left. It was popped. I had grounded a positive cable during a coach battery scenario. I reset the relay and all is good.

My '06 Monaco Knight 40DFD had problems with the rear camera feed failing intermittently. After replacing (and upgrading from B & W to color, I also found that the factory had over-tightened the zip tie on the bundled up cable from the rear camera to the monitor, breaking on of the 9 leads therein. So I ended up replacing the cable from the rear camera to the monitor. Problem solved!
