On my way back from Florida to NJ, my RV developed a bad vibration. First it only happened at about 65 mph. I figured I must have thrown a weight off one of the front tires. The vibration gradually got worse, and finally I could even feel it at 20 mph. To make a long story short, the right front tire must have broken a belt internally, causing a high spot on the tire. Not having a spare, I swapped it with a rear tire and lowered the air pressure of the damaged tire form 80 psi to 60 psi. Home was anoth 500 miles away, but I made it with no problems. Over the past two years, I had brake issues which I found was caused by sticking calipers. I suspect that the bad front tire saw some much higher heat than it was designed to take.
