Batteries and long-term storage

I know that I'm going to be disconnecting my coach batteries when I put it in storage tomorrow. Do I need to disconnect the chassis battery as well?

Most likely yes. If you remove a cable from the battery and put a test light in the gap, any light at all will show you your battery will run down during storage. Disconnecting batteries that are fully charged will keep them safe from freezing and they will be very close to the state of charge when they were disconnected. I've done it for years in boats and RVs with no issues.

If you have power I would also hook up a battery tender or pull them and plug them in at home with battery tender. It may extend their life.

The coach is now in storage, all the batteries have been disconnected at both terminals. I'm not from the mainland so I could not put on a battery tender or keep it plugged in for a trickle charge. But the place that I have it will put them on a charger a few days prior to me arriving when I pick it up
