Battery Charging

New 2023 Coachman Leprechaun to me. Batteries only charging when engine on. Shore and Generator charge voltage seen at converter but not at Batteries. Where could there be a break between the 40 amp fuses in the fuse box and the battery terminals?

Help

With a charger and battery and long connecting cable, there is overcurrent protection on each end of the long cable. On mine, there are two REV POL fuses in power center that act as "Mains". One between fuse board and Converter and the Other between Fuse Board and cable to Battery. On the Other end of this same cable, next to battery is a 12vdc CIRCUIT BREAKER. Some rigs I read have FUSE/ FUSES and maybe a Battery Disconnect next to battery? Hopefully, you just need to press a RESET, but otherwise, you may need to locate and replace some fuses/ fuse links? If so, SUGGEST U BUY/ CARRY appropriate SPARES. Mine tripped breaker next to battery when slide problem was encountered.
