Besides camping, what uses have you found for your motorhome?

Look, the secret to enjoying your coach and being comfortable with the cost is making sure you use the thing. We never, and I mean never, go a month without using our coach. And we've used it for all kinds of things:
- Concerts
- Sports Events
- Vacations
- Guest Cottage
- Vacation Condo
- Mountain Cabin
- Fishing Cabin
- Temporary lodging
- Full Time living (while building a house)
- Man Cave (hey, it beats the couch!)

But mostly, we use it for awesome weeks long vacations where take all our stuff and our dogs and explore America. Seriously folks, this is the last great good deal in America. Get out there!

Ski house. Great view of mountain, wake up and ski , lots of mountains welcome us, no more lousy lodge food that costs a fortune, kids can take a nice break during day and warm the toes, feed themselves and then back to slopes . Every weekend in jan and feb.

Travel ball with the girls. I have two(11 & 8) and they want to take it to tourneys in the summer to have a break between games.

Thanks for all the ideas. I thought I knew them all. Daughter is getting married in Apr this year at a community park, I will take the motorhome over and it will be used for the bride getting final touches taken care of, as well as emergency restroom for all.

Took a new job and the commute was killing me at near four hours a day. So I parked it near work in a MH park and stay there during the week. Commute home Friday nights. Otherwise we use it for camping at the lake and various other getaways throughout the year.

To live in when going traveling.... I much prefer our own beds, sheets and towels and washer / dryer than rely on someone else to make certain we are sleeping on clean sheets or using clean towels.... the thought of staying in motels/hotels and packing out a bed bug, or using a towel someone I don't know used.... just creepy YUCK!

Its our full time home, window to the USA, it a sanctuary, a place to spend time with friends, cross country transport and the biggest tool box on wheels.
Currently it contains almost everything we own and we love it that way.
At least for now.

We have used Moby as an extra guest room. We have been at some group events where it has served as the extra kitchen and barista station. We live in California, and since he is kept stocked and loaded to take off on a moments notice, Moby is also our Emergency shelter for natural disasters, with everything we need on board!

As many of you know, Hurricane Sandy hit us in NY. When I wasn't manning the Emergency Ops center, I was quite cozy, well fed and even showered with nice hot water. Makes a big difference when you're dealing with a disaster. Great feeling.... I wrote an article about it after the storm:

We've never camped before but may give it a try now that we have a Motor Home. I bought it to use for a large tailgate vehicle for Husker football games. This summer we might take it out for a couple of overnight camping trips with friends that camp a lot with their 5th wheels.
