Camera screen interference

My camera screen on my 2010 Tiffin Phaeton gets thick dark lines running horizontal with the rear camera but sometimes on side cameras. Anyone have history with that problem?

Gosey,
It is possible that this is caused by ground loop interference. There may be a corroded or poor ground somewhere in the wiring. This could be a simple fix. (Or a real pain in the you-know-what to hunt down.) From Wikipedia:

Ground loops are a major cause of noise, hum, and interference in audio, video, and computer systems.
In an electrical system, a ground loop or earth loop occurs when two points of a circuit are intended to have the same ground reference potential but instead have a different potential between them. This is typically caused when enough current is flowing in the connection between the two ground points to produce a voltage drop and cause two points to be at different potentials. Current may be produced in a circular ground connection (ground loop) by electromagnetic induction.

Google "Ground Loop" and check out the information and some you tube videos and see if this may be a possible cause of the interference.

Good luck, and maybe I'll see you down the road.

I've had this happen when I had a bad signal, or wire from camera to to monitor.
