Carpet Dashboard Covers

I have been shopping around for a carpet cover for my dashboard. I came across a company named Dash Designs that makes dash covers for about $100 less than other companies. Apparently you have to cut out your own defroster vent openings.


Has anyone purchased a cover from this company and were you happy with the product?

I actually purchased from Dashboards by Jose, but the tag on the product says Dash Designs. I ordered one for my Jeep that fit perfectly. I ordered one for my 2001 Tiffin Allegro bus, but it arrived the wrong size. I called the company, they had me take a couple of measurements, apologized and sent me the correct product. The second one came no defroster cutouts. The instructions were clear. It took about 30 minute to position, cut and install the entire cover. That was 5 years ago and I am still very pleased. The material is easy to vacuum with a hand vacuum. It does not reflect light so I can take pictures out the windshield. It has not faded, nor shrunk. I have needed to remove it once to install a bolt in the windshield wiper mount, but it reinstalled easily. Overall I will order again if I ever need one.
