If you prefill filter, do it on the "dirty" side (small holes) around the outer edge of the filter, not the large oil outlet hole in the center of the filter.

The military vehicle Stryker has a CAT 3126 engine. Motor oil is programed into the fuel. This elimates the oil changes, only the oil filters require replacement. Usage factor is approxmatlly 1 quart 10 200-300 miles. This is taking into consideration that these vehicles are idled for long periods operating radios and other electronic equipment.
