Cleaning the drain pipes
What can I use to clean all the gunk buildup in my drain pipes from the galley sink?

Boiling water. Or a drain snake.
The drain plumbing in your RV is pretty much the same as in your sticks and bricks home - everything is PVC (except the holding tank, which is probably polyethylene).
You might want to scrape your plates and cook pots better or run a bit more water to help stuff go down the drain. If you've got grease clogs you need to assess what you're putting in your holding tank that may not be coming out when you dump...

When we got our used coach one of the first thing I did was pull all of the pipes under each sink and clean them. I couldn't believe the "stuff" that was in the kitchen sink pipes. I don't know how any water got past it.
It doesn't take long to do and will give you the best results, in my opinion.

(Sometimes) easiest to just buy new and replace, probably less than $10, and no tools required; as long as you install the proper gaskets, and install correctly, it all goes together w/ hand-pressure alone.

hot water and baking soda to start.
then we use about every 2 months
i open gray valve and use a water hose with an on of valve and wrap a rag around it to seal off most of the water flow and put the stopper in the other sink, and let her rip for a few minutes, it clears the gunk out fast.
i also take the trap and cross over off periodically to clean them

If you have your coach at home, use your house water heater to clean the system. Your house water heater should be drained every so often to eliminate sediment at the bottom. Run a hose from your water heater to the coach's kitchen sink. Let the hot water run, occasionally closing the grey tank to let it build up and then drain again. It should be enough to dissolve the grease in the tank.

If the kitchen is in a slide, the plumbing has a flexible hose that should be inspected for wear too, don''t know the material it's made from.

It's easy to remove the sink P traps and clean them out. We do this once a year!
