My coach batteries (4) Trojan t105, in my 2003 Dolphin have been decreasing in time before needing recharging. Inspecton showed one battery had a defective cell. Should I replace all four or could I get away with replacing just the 1 defective and it other connected 6 volt partner. Best current price I could find for the t105's is $114.99

As long as the other batteries have proper voltage and load test comparibly then just replace the one battery. All batteries should have the same Amp-hrs rating.

How much do you "live" off your batteries will have everything to do with your question. Here are some links to help with battery questions.

When my T105's finally give out, I'm going with AGM's. The cost is quite abit more, but in the long run, the benefit's are worth it. Just try and find someplace where you can get a good deal on them.

I am running 4-T105s; have had them since mid-2004.

I have received good reports on the Sam's Club
6-v. They run between $ 60-70 ea.

AGMs are too much buck for the bang, IMHO.

But---I rarely boondock for more than 1-2 nights at a time. Each to their own!
