Coachman Cross Country

Looking at Coachman DPs, early 2000'2 (2000 - 2005) Any thoughts on these or things I need to look at?

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

Greetings Waiter21;
We are proud owners of a 2006 376DS Cross Country, and so far are real pleased with the length and room that comes with 38ft. The newer units come with more slides but for two or four there is plenty of room! By moving into this DP we really like the ride of the Freightliner chasse, and the 300hp turbo diesel has all the power needed to pull our 2 horse trailer. With owning a 34 and 50hp diesel tractors I get a kick out of folks that think 300hp might be a little under powered? I would recommend the full body paint if you can find one. Ours has both a full couch and the smaller jackknife sofa. The amount of storage in the master bed room is excellent and the sink /vanity is great for freeing up bath room for getting ready in morning & evenings!!

Thanks Mike;

I'm seeing a lot of these for sale, and the prices are significantly below similar years of other manufactures.

We just bought a 2007 Cross Country Sportcoach 382DS in Feb of this year (2017) and couldn't be happier.
It had 19500 miles on it at purchase. Sure there were a few minor issues but nothing major. Runs perfect and has everything we wanted. It was so clean inside it almost didn't seem hardly used. The previous owners stored it indoors in a climate controlled facility. They offer a lot for the money. Highly recommended.
