Considering RV life, need some help deciding

Short story is that I am considering buying a badass toy hauler and living in that for a year, since I'm a 30 year old single engineer that likes to take adventurous camping trips on the weekends.

In my research, a campground in my city has hookups for 700/month, but the two that are nearest to my job don't have availability.

I'm looking for any ideas for other options. Is there a forum like Airbnb for RVers? I would love to find someone who has some land they aren't using, especially if it had hookups.

Any thoughts or ideas are welcome!

I don't know of any service like that. However you must consider that utilities connections are important. You may be able to side step electric and water, but there is no easy way to do that for your holding tanks. You'll need them.
