Coroplast underbelly sealer

Hello fellow DIY'rs,

I've had to cut the coroplast in several places to find a leak. I want to seal the cuts I made, not just stitch or screw it together leaving the seam unsealed. We boondock, and winter camp frequently, so I need to keep critters and cold out of the underbelly. I looked at youtube and a facebook rv group for help to no satisfaction. Gorilla tape is NOT a permanent solution.
The solution I came up with, and am looking for feedback on is this: Use black zip ties to stitch the seams together about every 12" or so. This will serve to hold the weight, then clean and use this 3M product to seal the cracks.
TIA

I did both zip ties and gorilla tape. I found it to big of a pain to do the zip ties.use gorilla tape i found clean with mineral spirits and longer the tape is left more it seems to bond.i also sealed the underbelly to frame with gorilla tape.

Any of the heavy duty "100 mph" waterproof tapes will do an good job, e.g. Gorilla brand, Tac Shield, Scotch Tough Tape, etc. Eternabond roof seal tape is another good choice.
