Countertop extension ideas

Hi,

My previous class A had a countertop extender, my wife has asked me about doing tte same with our newer class A, problem is the end of the countop os slightly curved.

We have do have sink covers and got a hige chopping board to go over the stove.

The chair in the photo was not the original so had the dealer remove it, I am not going to bother replacing it as the dogs bed fit nicely in the space. Only looking for an extra 10 inches or so. Its not worth while replacing the countertop.

Thanks,

Maybe some kind of island that you can store while traveling.

1stmh-

I'd be inclined to get someone to cut a countertop to match the curve on the left, then mount the usual flip-up mechanism. It would take some careful work to make the mechanism connections to the side of the cabinet look nice, but could be done.

How large an extension depends on how much the dog beds interfere with a flip-up.

Thanks Rooster,

We could do some kind of Island, we still have the retainer left over from the recliner to hold it in place.

Hi Mark,

I do have a carpenter I have used on the past, I will ask him could he do this for me.

While you're at it get something to use as a back splash for the right of the stove. I think you have one for the back.

I got this because I'm lazy.
