Curtain Hooks

I pulled down my aged windshield curtain to have it dry cleaned, and noticed that the round sliding track hooks that they hang from, are rusted. I'd like to replace them, but I'll be darned if I know what they're called or where I can buy them. Can anybody help?

Thanks!

Craig

You should be able to get replacements at Lowes or HD in the Drapery Dpt

If not Lowes or HD. any RV place, INCLUDING the ever popular Camping World..

Just put one in your pocket (Coin case) and take it with you and say I need XX of these" the parts guy will point you to 'em pronto.

True story.. The cover for the roof vents,, What is it called?

I walked into an rv dealer and said "I need a hat for the stiink pipe" he knew exactly what I wanted and took me to it directly.

But in your case there are a few different designs for that track so take one with you.

Hat for the stink pipe? Love it!

Thanks, I'll give Lowe's and HD a try first, since they are close by.

FWIW, I had to go to three different cleaners for the curtain. First place recently stopped cleaning curtains, 2nd place wanted $112, 3rd place quoted me $30. I went with the lower quote...

Curtain Hooks

They're called I-beam Drapery Carriers, not "hooks". Hooks are the sharply curved things that are attached to your drapes, that slide through the loop on these carriers.

Check it here:

EDIT:
Actually, I just checked my purchase from several months ago. Get the units made by RECMAR. Their metal parts are zinc plated brass, so they won't rust. Most of the others, IIRC, are steel.

JFXG,

Thanks for the tip. I indeed found the brass plated wheel carriers on Amazon. I also needed a couple of end stops, but Amazon listed them as unavailable. I did an internet search and found a website called Curtain-Tracks.com. They had the end stops in stock as well as the wheel carriers. Their prices and shipping was the same as Amazon, so I just ordered from them instead.

Thanks again!

Craig
