Dash Air Troubleshooting

The cure for warm air from the dash air unit on our six year old coach (see signature)was to replace the desiccant "receiver air dryer" cylinder. We have used the dash air freely over about 50,000 miles. The technician said the cylinder was completely plugged. It is working fine now.

This may be one of those types of situations. Checked the water valve, seems to be working fine. Low side pressure looks good (per the R134a chart, 35-45 @75 deg f), refrigerant level seems ok.

Need to think about this and do more detailed troubleshooting.

This goes to the back of the priority list.
