Dicor 501LSW‑1 or Dicor Ultra Sealant

I want to install the Siphon 360 on my 2017 Thor Ace 30.3, before there is even an issue with smell. Maybe two, haven't looked to see how many vents it has yet. The Thor literature (site) states it has a "Premium One-Piece TPO Roof".

Pondering whether to use the 501LSW‑1 or the newer Ultra sealant. Obviously the Ultra will cost more, due to being a primer and a sealer, and is more steps to install. It has been suggested that the 501LSW‑1 is in fact OK for the TPM, supposedly even according to Dicor themselves, but the post that said that is from like 2014. I know there is now more than 1 formula of TPM made, so should I just bite the bullet and use the Ultra.

The post in question, suggested that the Ultra was just a marketing hype....

Newbie so I have no idea.

Thanks,
Larry W.

Installed same on my 2015 Thor, used Self Leveling Dicor. So far so good.

Thanks. I assume your roof is also TPO?

I'm not familiar with the UltraSealant, but Dicor advised me to use the 502LSW instead of the 501LSW. They said that's what most pros use and it flows a little better. I don't think they had the Ultra at that time.

Thanks,
Good to know. I already had a tube, so I'll probably go that route too.
