"Did you know" thread
Did you know that if you turn your cruise control on while in Neutral/Park and hit the SET Button your diesel will move to a high idle of about 1000 RPM to assist in warm up?
This applies to All diesel pushers, not just Monaco.

Beginning to sound like this needs to move over to the "Are you a thread killer" forum...

...didn't know at first but stumbled upon the info when researching other info. Great way to heat up the engine.
I wonder if there is a trivia section for these kind of miscellaneous but good to have information.

And you can raise the RPM by using the 'acel' button and then bring the RPM back down using 'decel' button on cruise controller
And if you have a Dodge/RAM diesel (maybe others also...no reason not) the high idle feature may need to be enabled by dealer service
It is a computer prompt that isn't always enabled from factory
High idle and exhaust brake on.....engine warm up time is minimal.

High idle and exhaust brake on? How are you going to get both at the same time???.

We're on our third DP in 16 years so I learned that "trick" in 2000. Turning on the exhaust brake does nothing on either a CAT 3126 nor a Cummins ISC when used in RV's. The exhaust brake turns off in anything but 2nd or higher. Our ISX has the true "Jake" brake and it has no effect on it either.

On my truck I just turn both on
On your MH.........I read that there is a device that allows both to be on at same time somewhere on a post on this forum
But I don't have that problem
