Little bit of Scotch would take care of that...

We do all the time but I sanitize our fresh water tank 4 or more times per season to be sure we do not have any issues. Our seasons start in March until December, that is why we clean it so much

What about all the things the birds do. Don't even get me started on the frogs and water bugs.... Then there are the alligators, the snakes, the rodents, .etc. Where do you think all that evaporated and filtered water from the sewage plants go?

I have to go, I need a drink!

We live in ours full time. We use all the systems and appliances that we paid money for buying it. We use the water, electric and sewer hookups at the campgrounds since we paid to stay and have them. We fill our tank with water to use from the campgrounds that we paid to stay at for when we do not have hookups.

Drinking bottled water just got a whole lot better this trip. We are staying at Bandits Roost, NC State Park. After hooking up to the park water, we found that the water had a strong smell, it had a lot of sediment, IT WAS DISGUSTING. We were sure glad we had brought our own drinking water!

I can't believe how fussy people are about water. The water on the Earth is a finite resource. It has been recycled billions of times. The water you're drinking today was filtered by a dinosaur's kidneys 80 million years ago and countless other times before and since. If it doesn't make you sick, it's good water. Filtered, reverse osmosised, distilled, it's water. Two atoms of Hydrogen and one of Oxygen, plus some other mineral traces and critical elements our bodies need. Putting it in a one time use plastic bottle doesn't magically make it better. My water is in a reusable plastic bottle, called my water tank. Some of you folks who treat water so reverently should see a where your best tasting water actually comes from. It's not always a pretty sight.

What about the minuscule, tiny mosquito that kills more people world wide than just about anything else. They breed in water.

I remember an old guy telling me that he has smoked for fourth years, I don't believe all the stuff they say about how bad it is....

We are all selective in what we want to listen to in regard to what is healthy or what is not healthy.

I used to eat lunch at a little dinner with two men almost daily. One was 90 and the other was 85. One day the old man that was 90 did not show up. I asked the guy that was 85 what was up with the other guy. He told me that he had passed away over the weekend. I said oh no, was it his heart or something? He said no, it was like his wife kept telling him, all that drinking and carousing finally caught up with him.....

Choose your own poison....

I'll know Monday if I survived throat cancer from drinking from my 5er/MH tanks or a green garden hose when I was young. They microwaved my throat 420 times over 6 seeks and got chemo'd once a week for 7 weeks.

No nausea, but lost hair, taste buds and had a Vicoden treated sore throat. I don't care about the hair, and the sore throat is mostly gone, but only 1/4 of my taste buds have come back.

Don't know if it was from the tanks or green garden hoses, but we played a lot of out-door sports and did the green hoses many times.

Could have been from drinking and smoking in my past, or even from swallowing small amounts of saliva over a long period of time.

Dunner,

That is a tough one. We don't look back in these situations, just keep going forward. We are with you and wishing you the best going forward.

At this juncture, drink what you want, eat as you wish, enjoy what you can while you can.

I also am facing some quality of life impacts in the next few months. Regardless, I am going to keep RVing as long as I can, because that is what I want to do.

May all your trips ahead be good ones.
