I personally don't think that insurance is worth much, but as long as you understand what it covers it is your choice. Basically to reimburses you for road hazard damage to the tires or wheel. It doesn't cover wear or underinflation damage - just "road hazards" like debris. It's not towing or flat tire service either - that comes under the Roadside Assist insurance, whether you get it from Good Sam or another RA service.
Class A's of the last two decades use robust tires that are the same as used on trucks & buses. Road hazard damage is relatively rare, so the chances of having to buy a tire on the road are low. Not zero, of course, but low.
