Dometic 310 toilet and Camping World

I had Camping World Kissimmee FL install a new Dometic 310 toilet when I left Orlando in January. First, I thought it was outrageous they charged me $189 labor to install it when mine was already out. Two bolts and a wax ring! Second, it was not set straight in the bathroom but I was leaving Florida and accepted it that way. Worked fine until July. I had little water flow to the toilet. Dometic was very helpful in answering my questions. I found there is a screen filter at the input to the toilet which was clogged. It is not removable and very hard to get to to clean. I decided to install an external inline filter behind the toilet. Then I found Camping world had crimped a 1/2 inch hose to the 3/8 inch connector on the back of the toilet. It never leaked but it sure was wrong. I could not do the same and have it not leak. I eventually bought a brass fitting that would accept the 1/2 inch hose. I am writing this to express my displeasure with Camping World, and to inform others about this filter in the Dometic toilet. I was filling with my own house well water hich probably caused the original problem.

Just last year they were charging $59.00 for installation. Where they get off charging that much for installation is beyond me. I will NEVER do business with them again. I bought the Dometic 310 off Amazon for $99.00. CW is a joke.

There are labor and overhead that needs to be paid so even $100.00 for installation of something may be reasonable...but...

Anytime someone is paid for an action they are "professional" and the customer expects that result.
