I ordered 2 Blizzard 15K heat pumps from a local dealer and one arrived in 3 days and the second took 3 weeks. Their supplier from Portland Ore. is large and has as much clout for parts as the mfg.'rs.. Right now rv purchase and use is at an all time high due to the pandemic, you will most likely have to put in your order and wait it out...
On a side note I had originally ordered the same units from Amazon since there web site said in stock. I only got one unit and it was a standard ac. unit not a heat pump.. I sent it back and put my order in at the local dealer..I have not had good luck on large rv items thru Amazon. jmho..
And the units work great and are much quieter with the 3 speed fans. The quality fit of the upper shroud to the lower shroud and the giant foam block could most definitely be improved on.

In October, I had a problem with my 16 year old front unit and scheduled an appointment with my shop but couldn't get in until Dec. 17th. Eventually, I decided to simply replace the old unit, but after reading this thread, along with some others, I was concerned with the delay.

On Dec. 10th, I called my local repair shop, a small mom and pop operation, and asked about the delay for a Dometic Penguin II 15k A/C with heat pump. The said they would check and call back. Fifteen minutes later, they called and said the unit and all necessary parts would be here by Dec. 17th for the installation. Further, if there was any unexpected delay, they would not charge my card.

It seems, then, that the delays are greatly influenced by location, local demand, shop/supplier relationships, and type of unit needed. I will not breathe easy until the replacement is made, but all is looking good so far.

I truly do have sympathy and empathy for people infected with COVID.

There are always more important things in life than any of our air conditioners. This is just a special time where we pause for a lot of people going through difficult times who happen to have the common bond of the same disease. Many people are pain at any given time.

I am trying to keep that in perspective and also if people stop buying things the economy stops. Imagine the pain that will cause to low socioeconomic class people.

Quoted post was of no value to this thread, and of course mine isn't either.
