Noticed this morning water dripping from one rear ceiling light way in the back of the coach by the AC ceiling vent. Going to look at the vent and light later this morning but I assume....love that word, that its a condensation issue as we are in Key West and have the AC on. Anyone else have an issue like This??

Turn A/C off and dry things up and see if drip continues. Might remove light fixture and have a look also. Maybe A/C is getting the light fixture too cold and the very humid air is condensing on the fixture.

(Assuming no rain?) MAYBE drain CLOGGED AND OVERFLOWING, but also possible COIL dirty, (which causes higher velocity across clean/ cleaner sections of the coil), which can cause the water drops to travel w/ the air vs dripping off the coil fins.

Don't limit your investigation to the light - odds are the water has come from somewhere further away and simply ran along the ceiling until it found an opening, i.e. the cut-out for the light. Could be condensation on a/c ducts or a leak most anywhere in the roof.

It also may be that the bolts that hold down your A/C unit have loosened, allowing water to seep in under the gasket. That happened to me once, causing water to drip from the light fixture.

Unless it has been raining while this is happening, get topside, remove top plastic cover.
More than likely clogged drain or drainline.
Some rvs have internal drain lines, other just drain on roof.
Shut off ac/disconnect power first.

Pull out some lights / vents and reach above to determine how much moisture is up there and where it is located.
If the RV is slightly unlevel, note that the source of leak is upstream.
The water can be coming in from anywhere above where it is showing itself.

Best is to clean the roof and do a thorough inspection of all seams and gaskets. Reseal with Dicor and Eternabond where anything is lifted or cracked.

Good luck. Pop out lights and remove covers in area. Trace wet/water back to source. Odds of it being condensation not that good. We camp in south a lot in high humidity and only leak I ever had was hole formed in roof seal around bathroom vent. Water showed up at light in front of rig. Safe travels
