DVD player repair

Not sure if this is the correct area to post this question but here goes. In our 1994 Allegro class A there are two DVD players built into the sterio radios in the dash and in the bedroom. Both are connected to their respective 12v TV's. the one in the front dashworks excellent but the one in the bedroom does nor accept the DVD. After purchase we discovered there were two DVD's forced into the player, we removed them but know the player will not accept another disc. We would like to get this repaired as it is a combo unit with am/fm cd and DVD player all built into one unit. In this day and age who does this type of repair anymore?? I know most everything is disposable nowadays but it would be nice to keep the complete setup we have if possible, just not sure where to look for repair.

For repair I would check with local car stereo shops for either repair or referral. Highwood probably be looking at replacement. There are many AM FM DVD MP3/4 Bluetooth players on the market now. I recently put one from Walmart in my motorhome dash. Most have around a 7-inch screen with connections for external components. Some are double-DIN size and some are single or 1.5-DIN with a pull out screen that flips up in front of the dash.

As mentioned, you could probably check local repair shops (if one exists) but be prepared for sticker shock. I'd go for a new, and easily available (and cheap), car receiver.
