I mounted my TST repeater inside the rear cap and wired it to the 12v hot wire in the tow connector. That lead is only hot when the ignition key is on, which is the only time it's needed.

Rear bedroom. Behind TV where all the fuses are, TV hook up and associated stuff. Tapped into a 12 v line I ran to a small fan.

I put mine right next to the 7 blade RV cord hookup on the truck. I have it wired to the same ignition hot wire that my TransferFlow in-bed auxilary fuel tank is wired to. As long as my truck is on, the repeater is on.

Edit: Just realized this is in the motorhome section, so my pickup truck location probably doesn't help you. My bad.

Mounted mime in the rear closet. I got power from the hot wire for the closet light. I also put in a surface switch to turn it off when not in use. The closet mount has worked fine. Cured my signal problem.

I have mine mounted in my electrical/circuit breaker cabinet in my half bath. But I loose signals all the time on my inside rear tires.

I put mine on the back wall of my rear storage compartment and took power from the light in there. I wanted good coverage of my toad as well and it’s been working great.

I just hook mine directly to the chassis battery positive and negative posts with alligator clips. The booster is taped to the top of one of the batteries with a good quality two sided tape.

Mine is in the wet bay at about the midpoint of the coach and borrowing power from the water pump relay. Took about 15 minutes to install and works great.
