got tired of buying step carpets for outside steps,i bought some indoor outdoor carpet, i needed spring hooks to hold them on ,found plate
hanginghooks ace hardware,cut one in half and worked great i punched holes in the carpet,
i put a photo in the photo files

I got the heavy duty extra wide step carpets from camping world about 1 1/2 years ago and they don't even show any wear yet. I had bought the cheaper ones before and they lated less than a year.

Check underneath your step carpets for rust. Every motor home I ever had them on, the top of the steel steps rusted badly. Stopped using them and have never had a rust problem again.

My steps rusted through as well. The one and only time I used step carpets, only steps I had a rust problem with.... Just an FYI.
