On my 06 discovery the electric steps stopped working from one second to the other anyone knows what could be. Thanks Joe.

First thing I would check is the ground wires. Even if they appear to be tight, they could be corroded.

You aint gonna believe this but here goes.......
My steps are like my wife. Usually they work good without any trouble or aggravation to me. I open the door and the steps ''go out''....... I close the door and the steps ''come in''. No problem........... But OCCASIONALLY, just Occasionally they need ''messin with'' just a little. I have to take the ''pin'' out of the clevis that the ''actuitating'' rod works in and let the steps ''hang free'' for a while. Note BE SURE TO UN PLUG THE WIRES BEFORE YOU DO THIS''. Leave the ''pin'' out and turn the steps back on and plug everything back in. Open and close the door a few times and see if the ''motor'' will work and the little actuating rod will go in and out. ............ Mine has to ''rest'' sometimes for 30 minutes and then it will work fine for two to three months and then it will ''go on strike'' again and have to be messed with. anyhow, when the little motor starts working again, put the pin in the clevis and re hook the electrical wires and open the door and it usually will work fine for a couple months.
This valuable information will cost you ten cents if you use it and you must pay me the next time you see me.
free suggestion. unplug everything under the step and put ''electrolitic grease'' on everything and plug it back in and that may cure your problems also. (that will be another ten cents please)

The circuit board & motor went out on our Kwikee steps last yr on our 06 Bounder. Replaced under ex-warranty.

May not be your problem, but mine quit working. I could hear the solenoid click, step light worked, etc. Had a few other odd electrical things going on. Checked the two house batteries. One had a couple of bad cells and the other was run down. Replaced the bad battery and charged the other and the steps started working.
