I have a 2004 Dolphin LX on a Workhorse chassis. The characters in the dash display that show mileage, oil pressure, outside temp., etc are burning out making it difficult to read. This has been going on since the unit was a year old. I met Ron Kretschman, a Workhorse rep at a ralley last March and he was going to check into my problem and get back to me. I have emailed him 3 times and so far have not gotten anywhere. Has anyone had this problem? If so, how did you resolve the problem?

I have a 2004 Seabreeze. There is an issue with the electronic display (Actia brand?) for which there was a recall. Had mine replaced for free with a new one at a Workhorse shop. Give them a call for an appointment....

There is a Technical Service Bulletin on some of those dashes,, I know my 2005 was covered... Visit an authorized Workhorse service center (I went to Damon, where the house was built, But that was because I was on route there when it went out Very handy for me)

I think 2oo4's are covered in the TSB.. But by all means check it out.

I'm in the process of having mine replaced because of scramble LCD display.
You call ACTIA, 574-266-2612 talk to Stephanie explain whats wrong and have your chassis Vin # handy and she will check to see if its under warranty and issue you a RGA number which goes on form and box your returning display in.
You need this number or nothing will be accepted.
You will than go to Actiaus.com look for warranty link form will come up fill in information and it will go to RGA warranty service people.
Mine was under general return because its not under Warranty you will bring up form and fill in information on form.
Some of the info will be on the back of your display unit you are returning.
If you know mileage put that on form also.

Mike on the form you download the bottom half will be if the girl says your under warranty after she checks your vin #, the top half will be for returning unit with RGA number the girl will give you and has to be place on form and the shipping box you will use when returning unit.
In small print you will see RGA return goods form.
UPS shipped mine back and place RGA # on box.
Make sure you have your VIN# and mileage on form also.
If your not under warranty you will not have some of the information required to fill out the bottom half.
Took about a week to get return unit.
If you can not read mileage they have the means to get it off software on display.
