Talking Emissions sticker replacement

I own a 1993 Born free President 26ft rear bath twin bed... has a ford 7.5L 460 v8... 149 k miles... I'm another very last step of getting it registered here in CA since it was an out of state rv when I got it... the only thing that stopping me from being completely done registering it is the dude at the dmv tells menl I need to replace my emmisions stick under the hood cause the bottom left corner is unreadable... apparently the protective cover has worn off... I've been have trouble getting a replacement... any ideas? thank you in advance

IF you can find another member that has one of these, you could ask them to take a picture of theirs and make a hard copy of it and paste it under your hood.

Go back at a different time and hopefully you'll get a more sympathetic inspector. It sounds like you got the resident jerk.

An alternative to having DMV do the inspection is to use a registration service.

I just registered an out of state MH in CA and went this route. Took about 3 weeks to get it done. The person you hire comes out to you, does the inspection, goes to DMV on your behalf. Few weeks later you pick up plates and registration.

I've used this method a few times and it works. Cost is a few hundred dollars.

Good Luck,

Do you belong to AAA? Go to them for registration. Much easier that dealing with the DMV
