Eternabond 4" Tape vs Dicor 4" Tape

I am at CW in Sefner and they do not carry eternabond anymore, They have the same 4" tape made by Dicor. The sales prople say it is the same and it does appear so.

Anyone use this Dicor product??? I have used the Dicor selflevelling caulk and it works very good.

Thanks Rick

Hi Rick,
CW seems to be doing a lot of switching of products lately. I can not help you on the Dicor, never used it. For me to switch from E'bond, the situation would need to be a dire emergency. Other than that, I'll buy E'bond from RV Upgrades.

Thumbs up

I agree with what GaryKD said. Unless you need to do a repair right this instant, I would consider ordering from RVUpgrades, http://www.rvupgradestore.com/ who most likely could have it to you in a very few short days or Copper State Roofing http://www.bestmaterials.com/roof_repair.aspx who also has pretty good service.

I also agree with Gary and JC2. Nothing against Dicor, I have used it and have been satisified. E'bond is a proven winner, and I also like to support our sponsors.

A lot of roofing supply companies carry eternabond. I bought some in San Antonio at a business listed as a dealer for "E bond" on their web site. It was about a third the price of CW at the time and had more on a roll.

Nothing that has to be done immediatly, Just another thing on the preventive maintenace list!!

Your advice has cofirmed what I was thinking 'Wait until I can get eternabond'

Thanks Rick

Checked out CW in Ft Myers they have one roll of 4" x 37' aluminum in Eternabond and 4"x50' Dicor. The sales rep said they were no longer stocking eternabond.
So i will need to order some when we get back North.

Rick

Hi Rick,
Consider going to RV Upgrades. They have what you want and can have the E'bond shipped to you at RB. It takes only a day or two.
