Exhaust noise in cab when exhaust brake engaged

In the foot hills of north Ala. Started noticing air leak noise while driving when the exhaust brake engages. Has got progressively worse. The noise goes away when brake releases and normal conditions resume. The noise is much louder in the rear of the coach. I have a ISC 8.3. Doesn't seem to be effecting anything other than the air releasing noise. Brake still seems to operate as designed. Any thought / ideas would be appreciated.

Given the history of cracked exhaust manifolds on those Cummins engines , I'd say that would be the first place to check.

EDIT: If your traveling in Northern AB foothills , have you noticed any issues with fuel supply? Edmonton refinery problems have some stations running out.

Thanks for the exhaust manifold idea. Been camping for a week or so , last fueled about a week ago. Haven't noticed anything that stood out while traveling around in toad.

X2 on a cracked exhaust manifold. That is the classic symptom.
