Exit Step

Any idea why the power step out of the Rexhall will not come out all the way (or go in all the way). We checked the fuses which are good and I lubricated the moving parts. Help!

The range of motion on my steps is reduced when it gets cold. I need to help the steps close all the way when it's time to hit the road. I've lubricated all the linkage and they're working pretty well right now. Make sure the electrical connections are clean so sufficient power is available to the motor. Good Luck

Kwikee uses plastic washers in the moving joints, are yours missing, worn? Check your steps to see if they have been bent or sprung out of shape.
Since the steps stop when high resistance is detected, clean both ground connections, yes there are two.

For future use and your library, here is how to test kwikee steps yourself.
