Extending countertop suggestions

Hi,

I would like to gain more countertop space in our kitchen.

The previous owners had removed the arm chair next to the kitchen so we have that space to use.

Any ideas? I am open to replacing it.

My friends rv had a counter extension added on the end of his counter by the previous owner. When needed, you just lift it up, and lock the arms. When not needed, you fold it down against the end of the counter. He seldom used it. One day he put it up, and discovered he had another plug in behind the extension, as well as a switch for a light he didn't know had a switch.

My old coach had something similar, my issue is the end of the counter is curved.

The island I ordered will do perfectly, I can store it under the bed when traveling.

The island arrived today, it fits nicely and stores under the bed easily. For 1 or 2 nights I would not put it out, but for 3 or more I would.

It also has 2 shelves, I put out shoe tray on the bottom one.
