I would contend that supersingles would increase, boost, or augment planeing (as related to water).

With super-singles a typical motorhome might save 100 lbs in weight, and maybe get some tiny improvement in rolling resistance on the dual wheel axle. So what do you think that gains in fuel economy? If it is as much as 1% (I'm doubtful), would you even notice? And maybe a little CCC?
