Extremely hard to keep it in my lane

I have a 2003 Rose Air model 3655DS with Spartan chassis. It wanders terribly. Any one know of a fix? Sure would appreciate any suggestions

First, weigh your rig and adjust tire pressure to the correct pressure, it may or may not be what is on the tire sidewall or placard on the coach. It's free so start there.
Second, have the alignment checked, especially the caster. Caster is what makes the wheels want to return to straight after you come out of a corner, it also makes them want to track straight in a straightaway. The shop that does this should also check for worn front end parts.
Third, make sure you are looking far enough down the road. If you attention is focused 20 feet in front of the coach you will always be reacting too late to keep things smooth. Maybe this should be second because it's free too.

You also need to keep your corrections small, don't jerk the wheel around it's more like a slight pressure in the direction you want to go.

Once you have done these things and you are still having issues, then, and only then, should you look at after-market bling to help with the issue. Personally I'm not a big believer in the self centering shock absorber kinds of things. I think they are a crutch for another issue that needs to be fixed. I know there are a whole lot of folks that disagree with that and that's their privilege. I don't have any wandering issues with my coach so I can't speak to what kinds of after market things work or don't work. Good luck.

I can't speak specifically to the Spartan chassis as my experience is with my Workhorse chassis, but I agree with most of what arcaguy said. I actually think the steering stabilizer was more useful to me than increasing the caster, but I have done both, along with front and rear sway bars. I also increased the front toe-in slightly beyond the manufacturer's specs. My coach initially could be tiring to keep between the lines but is a joy to drive now.

Sway bars were the biggest expense, though well worth it, but best to check alignment before adding anything. It could be that you need nothing more than a simple adjustment.

Get the front steering components examined for wear. Plan on new shocks all around. Get an alignment done.

Do you see any unusual or un even front tire wear? If so, this reveals that suspension parts need inspection and maybe some replacements, or alignment may need to be done, or running wrong air pressure, tires out of balance, etc., etc. Tire wear can tell you a lot of the story.

Having too little +caster creates a dead "do nothing" zone between left and right, set caster at top end of specification.
