Falfurrias TX roadside Park

Anyone stay overnight at the Roadside park on TX 281 near Falfurrias?
Safety issues? Anything to consider? Considering it as our last stop before the RGV. Thanks in advance!

The DW tells me, we would not. A lot of traffic through there not all legal. With all the Live Oak trees it is very dark in there and the traffic pattern is bad , you have to exit in to the fast lane.

It is not to far to Pharr, 1.5 hours 62 miles. I would keep going or would have stopped at the rest area on I37. JMHO
