~2 years ago before I built my garage I was working on my coach using a high step later but it was on soft ground. I was near the top of the ladder when I felt it starting to tip over, not much I could do about it except tuck and roll when I hit the ground. I was ~+61 at the time. Not telling what would have happened if I was older.

But know with my garage I have a set of 6' scaffolding that I can set up plus inside the garage I build an enclosed shop with a roof. I now have a ramp that goes across to the top of the RV, much better & safer.

Poli Glow will protect your roof from sun damage and oxidation. Remember to apply two coats of Poli Glow to a clean surface after about a year as maintenance. By applying this maintenance application, Poli Glow can last five to six years before you have to remove it.

I also went through this roof protectant thought process, mine had a lot of white steaks since it was outside its entire life. I knew I wanted to get my dark roofing changed over to white since here in Utah we have intense summer sunshine and high UV radiation. I have recorded over 170 degree side wall readings when air temps were 82 degrees, I have dark brown primary color sides with gold tone second and red trim. My solution was to use a fiberglass rated pool paint, 2 coats. Stuff has a very strong adhesive in the base, I wore my paint spackles on my skin for 3 weeks! Wish I could recall the brand, I did scrub the oxidation off and hand dry entire roof before application, 1 gallon was about $90, is a epoxy based product from a nationwide pool supplier.

Hmmm,
"....dark roofing changed over to white..."
Just wondering, what EXACT DARK color IS your roof if it's not already white? I don't think I've ever seen an RV roof, no matter what it's made of, in anything but white. My old Class C Ultra had an aluminum roof but, it was bright aluminum, not any form of a dark. But all other roofs I've seen or cleaned or did any maintenance on have been white, no matter the manufacturer.
