I know it is nowhere near as spacious as some, but for us, our 3200DM floor plan really fit the bill. The MH is completely usable with the main slide in. The rear slide is only for the wardrobe, and it extends without hitting the hitch or toad. This makes holing up in truck stops and rest areas no problem. Plus, the family can use the whole MH (except for the bottom part of the wardrobe) while we travel down the road.
You may be weary of trucks by now, but if you aren't, you may want to take a look at a class 8 conversion.
