Judging how fast the fire spread in my my old motorhome due to the refrigerator, you better be quick getting out of the window.
You won't have time to prop open a window and hang a ladder...more like jump for your life and hope you don't break too many bones when you land.

Or you could do what I did and make it so that you can get out in 20 seconds or less without breaking your bones. Built-in a prop on the window, placed two steps outside, and have practiced many times. In the motorhome I sleep in sweats and a t-shirt or shorts and a t-shirt, so I can be out of bed and out the window faster than if you tried to break out your window, or fumble your way out without a window prop and jump. In fact I think my video is the only video I've ever seen of anyone actually going out of an emergency window. All I've ever seen are people poking their head out and telling you how to do it, or comically trying to crawl out and not making it. Again, the video I posted earlier was one of the first times I went out the window, it's faster now that I've practiced.
